Full Job Description

​

Preschool of the Warm Heart is a play-based, half-day Christian preschool that is looking for an assistant teacher for our 2-year-old and our 3-year-old classrooms. This is a part-time position that meets Monday-Friday mornings for 9 months from September - May.

​

Qualifications include experience in a classroom setting and the ability to collaborate with the lead teacher to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child. Other duties would be to ensure the safety of the students, assist with the day-to-day management/cleaning of the classroom, and act in accordance with our team philosophy and preschool mission.

This position will begin in late August of 2024 and end in late May of 2025. We offer paid workdays before school begins, throughout the school year, and at the close of the school year.

​

Assistants are required to attend staff meetings and additional events throughout the school year outside of the regular school day. This position is typically 20-25 hours per week (sometimes more if the school has an event). 

​

Pay: $17.65/hour
